Not only have we been lucky enough to meet incredible people, eat delicious food and enjoy local art, we also have been surrounded by the nature of Suriname. It’s difficult to to describe but photos help 😉

It is really a lovely place! After our first two visits and the meetings with the local artists and the director of the museum Fort Nieuw Amsterdam some artists started working on the place today. Others went to the sawmill and started working at the carpenter’s workshop for the big sculptures. Everybody is busy trying to find materials and tools while we have a lot of help by the local artists and of course the G artblok and fvas People. Lots of work to do but it is a pleasure to work with all those nice guys here.
